STEAM CITY Everett has been active in the Community

Easter at the Rec Center.

Komal Markan and Dave Irish were attending the Everett Cultural Council booth at the Everett Rec Center where attendees could add wishes to the Wishing Wall or learn about programs in the city.

Welcome to S.T.E.A.M. City! The Start!

 S.T.E.A.M. City Corporation was created as a non-profit organization with the goal of making  S.T.E.A.M. education topics accessible to everyone regarless of their ability to pay.  As the world gets more and more tech oriented, the need for education in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics becomes more important.  For people in low opportunity circumstances this can be difficult.  First generations, parents with low education achievement, low income and access to education are all present in the communities we want to serve. The potential to get higher education and begin a life changing career is a reality on this education track. The need for  S.T.E.A.M. educated workers really grows every day. It is our hope that fun, creative S.T.E.A.M. classes we offer will create opportunities that our students had never imagined.  S.T.E.A.M.
