Where Art meets Tech

Home decor design is usually not the first thing you think of when you hear S.T.E.A.M. or STEM education.  But it is certainly is! Here is a flower lamp, there are lights embedded in resin along with a real flower.  Art and design are important whether you are designing a lamp or a robot or a spaceship.

Welcome to S.T.E.A.M. City! The Start!

 S.T.E.A.M. City Corporation was created as a non-profit organization with the goal of making  S.T.E.A.M. education topics accessible to everyone regarless of their ability to pay.  As the world gets more and more tech oriented, the need for education in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics becomes more important.  For people in low opportunity circumstances this can be difficult.  First generations, parents with low education achievement, low income and access to education are all present in the communities we want to serve. The potential to get higher education and begin a life changing career is a reality on this education track. The need for  S.T.E.A.M. educated workers really grows every day. It is our hope that fun, creative S.T.E.A.M. classes we offer will create opportunities that our students had never imagined.  S.T.E.A.M.
